(a publication written for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition), and other sources. The 42-page booklet is printed on 60# paper. A vinyl sheet has been added to protect the front cover.
The first part of the booklet contains a history of the Ozark area, especially as it relates to Missouri, two brief histories of the counties, and bios of leading citizens. The WPA section has a section on Ozark folklore, and brief stops at Winona, Birch Tree, Lesterville, Ellington, Eminence, Alley Spring State Park, Current River, Clark National Forest and Round Spring State Park. The Louisiana Purchase Exposition book takes a 1904 look at the area.
