    Description

    The Ergo by PaddleAir
PaddleAir has been dedicated to giving surfers an edge in the rigors of paddling since 2004.  Today, a new generation of dedicated surfers can reap the benefits of this scientifically tested and proven technology with designs that conform to both short and long boards. The Ergo, created and designed in California:
Reduces repetitive stress injuries resulting from prone paddling
Improves paddling position for more power-per-stroke
Provides cushion to chest and protects rib-cage
Each Ergo style features a Neoprene front and a Lycra body that offers U.V. 50+ protection. The patented high-performance ergodynamic bladder is designed to conform and protect your rib cage and give you adjustable lift as you paddle. The air system technology is of the highest quality, similar to what is used in dive equipment, and is very reliable. It is not a flotation device, but when inflated the Ergo?s air bladder will give you some buoyancy
The Ergo is designed to be worn on the outside over your wetsuit or against your bare skin. Its smooth interior assures a comfortable fit and protects your skin or wetsuit from paraffin chafe.  With a PaddleAir Ergo you'll paddle stronger, so you can surf longer.
Ergo by PaddleAir Black Neoprene Vest
Ergonomically designed for high-performance in Neoprene and Lycra with 50+ U.V. protection. This classic comes in a stylish black vest with the distinctive Ergo trademark. The smooth interior works great worn alone over trunks or over a wetsuit. It has a drawstring to cinch the waist and a loop to attach to trunks.

    Care Instructions

    Our Founder
David Hilts founded PaddleAir, Inc. in 2004. Dave, a lifelong surfer grew up in Huntington Beach, California and has been a part of the sporting goods industry for many years including working for a major wetsuit manufacturer and surfboard company. He has also been a manufactures representative and owner of a retail sporting goods store.
Dave has drawn from the knowledge gained from those experiences to create a completely new product in the sport that has been a central part of his life for over 45 years. Through trial and error, he discovered how efficient the PaddleAir system worked and realized that his idea could be a real benefit to surfers with a lifelong commitment to the sport like himself. He also realized that the product could help entry level surfers and people with back problems or abrasions from paddling. He continued developing the PaddleAir paddlewear line, and through the evolution of dozens of prototypes came up with the current product selections available today.
