1960 Sikorsky Prototype Helicopter [HSS2] SH-3g Sea King during Shipping Photos
The photos are approx 3 x 4 1/2 inches - without border
5 original photos (2 pairs not separated) of the Sikorsky HSS-2 (SH-3g Sea King) #140837 (see photo) while taken apart for shipping to Pensacola for testing.
These photos came from the estate of a Sikorsky engineer who worked for them from the 1950s until 1986.
In 1986 he died in a helicopter crash.
During these times he was instrumental in many projects at Sikorsky.  I see many known helicopter models and a few that are unknown to me.
He traveled to the Philippines and Viet Nam several times from the mid 1960s until the end of the decade as part of his work.
